Contest Time!
Good day, my jolly ranchers! I randomly saw our friend Anthony at a wine bar recently and he was wearing a Beth Who t-shirt, which made me think that I should clothe more backs.
So, here's the deal...you might've noticed my new header image...we need to pick out new photos for my website! The first FIVE people to complete the following steps will get a tasty combo pack of a CD & T-shirt from your girl in pink!
Step One: Go to MY BLOG and vote for your favorite new image(s) by leaving a comment. Choose from any of the following categories:
Pink Dress, Field Day, Street Wise, Horse Power
Step Two: Reply to this email and tell me what YOUR favorite WORD is.
(i.e. mine might be "love", Oprah's might be "vajayjay")
Fine print: there are already some comments on there, but they don't count, so don't let it deter you. Plus, some people will need time to think of their favorite word. Alright? We're off like a bed of sloths!
Vid-e-oh-yeah...
Carl & I ventured up to Longmont, Colorado last month (I still need to blog about it) to play some tunes at a fundraising event, hosted by Lynsey Peterson
, who also happens to know her way around a camera. Our session was videotaped by a young chap named Eric Paton, all because you know it's true, everything I do, I do it for you. And for the glory of love. And because you loved me.
Love is our business & business is good...
I've been a bad blogger lately. I've also been a bad newsletter-er and bad at replying to personal emails. There's just never enough time! We have some big life changes coming up that I'll share with all of you soon, so we're working hard to get there. That was cryptic. No, I'm not pregnant. :)
This was last week, outside our office, during ROT Rally:
Carl & Carl...
This is our great friend, Carl Bounds, who is also a fabulous guitar player. We met up with him at a concert the other night and he always has some words of encouragement for the Hubs & me. I am so thankful for all of the amazing people we've already met in our lifetimes. Life is good, love is alive.
Plans?
If you're free tonight (6/20), Carl is playing mandolin with The Sieker Band at Artz Ribhouse! 7pm. BBQ & Bluegrass, if you're in to that sorta thing. :)
Thanks for being part of this mailing list. I'd like to make out with each one of you, but then I'd be a floozy.
xo,
~B
